SoloComm allows its users to instantly message and make calls within the app without needing to share their email address or phone number with companies.
The interface is very familiar to users of WhatsApp or Apple Messages, including emojis, read receipts, file- and image-sharing.
What sets it apart from consumer platforms is that it is built specifically for the needs of healthcare, including important safeguards for clinical teams and patients.
Built for healthcare
HIPAA compliance. Subject to a clinicians or facility having signed a BAA, Protected Health Information (PHI) can be shared in the app. The software is aware which users have the appropriate status, and makes clear that PHI cannot be shared when appropriate.
Zero spam messaging. Clinicians indicate which companies they are happy to receive messages from - by “Connecting” with them on a company-by-company basis. Until connected, the clinician is invisible to the company and so won’t receive speculative messages from them.
Zero inbound calls. By default, it’s only clinicians that can initiate audio and video calls.
The Lowdown on Updates
The platform has been built for efficient development in line with our partners’ requirements.
For example, updates we could introduce from H2 2023 include Group Conferencing, Live Streaming, Event Broadcasting, Audio Rooms, Screen Sharing and Polling.
