A unique clinician-first approach
Happy clinicians = more engagement = happy companies
Our philosophy has been that in order to build a valuable sales/marketing solution for product companies, we need first to build a tool that solves real problems for HCPs.
HCPs told us that they do want to stay informed, and recognize the need to collaborate with peers and to keep up with the latest research, education, and product innovations. But they also said they feel stressed by the quantity of communications from product companies, and that this became much worse after the pandemic.
They want to engage, but on their terms.
The only “self-serve” places of available information that exist are fragmented across many channels (email, conferences, websites, journals, social media, etc.), making consumption of this media distracting and inefficient. They want a consolidated self-serve option that’s designed for their primary communication device: the mobile phone.
The Solution
SoloCom is architected to address this fundamental problem. Within the app, HCPs gain access to a personalized, tailored view of their consolidated information universe. Their in-app experience helps surface only the companies, people and information (product information, educational content, news stories, market research questions, etc.) that relate to their individual profile.
By removing extraneous information, we immediately help ameliorate their sense of digital overload.
Furthermore, by allowing clinicians to selectively opt-in to allow inbound communications from the organizations they choose, we provide a mechanism by which they can safely make a transition away from the burden of email inbox management.
If they see a product or article that interests them, they simply “Connect” to that company. This enables their assigned reps to contact them via the inbuilt communications functions without the need for them to share their personal email address or phone number.

Your Rules
Our clinician-first approach is unique it’s not controversial. But as new features are added and new clinical areas are entered, judgement calls will need to be made around the rights of different users in specific circumstances.
It’s important to remember that these rules are not fixed. Our partners will make these decisions as appropriate for each clinical area.
